HLTAID009: Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
HLTAID009 is the current accredited unit that covers the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) according to nationally recognised resuscitation guidelines.
This course replaced the previous HLTAID001 unit and focuses on practical, hands-on learning. It prepares participants to provide CPR in a range of situations, including community settings and workplaces.

Students must demonstrate the physical ability to perform two minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor. A valid USI and basic English literacy are required.
